Terms of Service

These terms cover the plugins sold on plugins.stago.io under the STAGO name, currently Afterimage and Sensor, together with their installers, updates and documentation (the "Software"). The Software is made by Dmitrii Khon, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), SIRET 98348901400016, 4 rue Alexis Mossa, 06000 Nice, France ("we", "us"). By buying or installing the Software you agree to these terms.

Who sells to you

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for every order. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles taxes, billing questions and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase itself. These terms govern your use of the Software.

Your licence

• When your payment completes, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software you bought.
• You may activate it on up to 2 computers that you use yourself, for example a workstation and a laptop. To move it to another computer, deactivate it in the plugin or release the old computer on your order page.
• You may use it for personal and commercial work, including paid client projects. Footage and renders you make with it are yours.
• A licence covers one person. Studios with several editors need one licence per editor.

What you may not do

• Share, resell, rent, sublicense or publish the Software, its installers or your download links.
• Repackage the Software or its looks, presets or code into another product.
• Remove notices of ownership, or work around any licence checks we add in later versions.

Reverse engineering is not allowed except where the law gives you a right to it that cannot be waived.

Free trial

The free trial is the full Software with a watermark on rendered frames. You may use it to evaluate the Software, including on client footage, but watermarked output is not licensed for delivery. Adding a valid licence key removes the watermark.

Licence keys

Each order comes with a licence key. Activating it on a computer needs an internet connection once; after that the plugin works offline. Keep the key private: it is tied to your order, and keys from refunded or charged-back orders, or keys shared publicly, are switched off.

Downloads and updates

After purchase you receive a download link by email; you can request it again on the downloads page. We may release updates and fixes and make them available through the same link. We may offer future major versions as paid upgrades; any such terms will be announced with the release, and the version you bought keeps working under this licence.

Requirements

The Software runs inside DaVinci Resolve. Supported versions and systems are listed on the product page; please check them before buying. The Windows version is new and still being tested on real machines. If the Software does not work for you, see our refund policy.

Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights to it, including copyright, except the rights this licence gives you. DaVinci Resolve is a trademark of Blackmagic Design Pty Ltd; we are an independent developer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Blackmagic Design.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make the Software reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending the licence

The licence ends if you break these terms or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. When it ends you must stop using the Software and delete it, and your download links stop working.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of France, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
