Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Dmitrii Khon, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), SIRET 98348901400016, 4 rue Alexis Mossa, 06000 Nice, France ("we", "us"), collects through plugins.stago.io and the STAGO plugins, and what we do with it. We are the controller of this data. Contact: plugins@stago.io.

Payments

Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information and handles them under its own privacy notice. We never see or store your card details.

What we receive and keep

• Order data from Paddle: your email address, the products you bought, the order number and the date. We use it to send your download links, let you request them again, answer support questions and keep records required by law.
• Trial requests: your email address and whether you agreed to receive STAGO news. We use it to send the trial download link and, only if you agreed, occasional news about new plugins and updates. Every news email has an unsubscribe link.
• Licence keys and activations: the key issued with each order, so we can resend it and switch it off if the order is refunded; and for each computer it is activated on, the computer name shown in the plugin, a one-way hash of its hardware ID and the activation date, so we can keep the limit of 2 computers and show them on your order page.
• Download records: how many times an order's files were downloaded, to spot leaked links.
• Messages you send us at plugins@stago.io, to answer them.
• Visit statistics: which pages are viewed, the referring site, the country, the browser and device type, and clicks on buttons such as Buy and Try free. We count them with Umami, running on our own server; it sets no cookies and keeps no IP addresses or anything that identifies you, so a visit cannot be traced back to a person. We use the totals to see which pages work.
• Server logs: IP address, time and requested page, kept for a short time to run the service securely and stop abuse.

What we do not do

The site does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and no third-party analytics. We do not sell your data or send you marketing email unless you have asked for it.

The plugins

The plugins run inside DaVinci Resolve on your computer and process your footage locally; your media is not uploaded anywhere. Activating a licence key sends us the key, the computer name and a one-way hash of its hardware ID, once; after that the licence is checked on your computer, without contacting us. A plugin may ask plugins.stago.io for a newer version or for the list of keys switched off after refunds; these requests contain no personal data beyond the IP address that every internet request carries.

Who else handles your data

• Paddle.com, for payments, invoices, tax and refunds.
• Our hosting and email providers, which store and send data on our behalf under contract.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country; where the law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis and how long we keep data

We process order data to perform our contract with you (delivering and supporting what you bought) and to meet legal obligations, trial requests to deliver the trial you asked for, news emails only with your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and server logs for our legitimate interest in running a secure service. Order records are kept for as long as you may need to download your purchase and as long as tax and accounting law requires; logs are deleted after a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to plugins@stago.io. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in France the CNIL (cnil.fr), or the one where you live.
